Last reviewed: August 2026

1. Who we are

Attsure Pty Ltd (ABN 58 690 355 321) (“Attsure”, “we”, “us”) is an Australian underwriting agency working with licensed insurance brokers. This policy explains how we handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the 13 Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

2. Personal information we collect

The personal information we collect through this website is limited to what you provide directly — principally through the broker access request, contact, indicative quote, tool suggestion, and brochure forms. This may include your name, email address, phone number, business or brokerage name, business details such as ABN and turnover provided for an indicative quote, and any message content you choose to submit.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive information (as defined in the Privacy Act) through these forms, and we ask that you do not include sensitive information, client details, or claims information in any message you send us.

3. Why we collect it

  • To respond to your enquiry, access request, or quote request
  • To keep you informed about Attsure’s products and platform availability
  • To manage our relationship with brokers
  • To improve this website and understand how it is used
  • To meet our legal, regulatory, and record-keeping obligations

We do not use personal information collected through this website for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

4. Disclosure of personal information

We do not sell personal information. We may disclose personal information to:

  • Service providers who help us operate this website and communicate with you, such as hosting, email, and customer relationship management providers
  • Regulators, dispute resolution bodies, or professional advisers, where required or reasonably necessary
  • A related body corporate of Attsure, for the purposes described above

Personal information collected in the course of quoting, binding, and administering policies on the Attsure platform may also be disclosed to insurers, capacity providers, and claims service providers as required to provide those services, and is handled under the privacy terms provided with the relevant policy documentation.

5. Overseas disclosure

Some of our service providers (for example, cloud hosting or email infrastructure providers) may store or process personal information on servers located outside Australia. Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure those providers handle personal information consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles, including through contractual protections.

6. Data security

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information we hold from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Access, correction, and complaints

You may request access to, or correction of, personal information we hold about you by contacting us using the details below. We will respond within a reasonable period.

If you believe we have breached the Australian Privacy Principles, you can lodge a complaint with us in the first instance. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may escalate your complaint to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC):
