Attsure is the underwriting agency, not the insurer. Ivory Insurance backs every policy Attsure writes, across Professional Indemnity, General Liability and IT Liability. Attsure Licensee Pty Ltd holds its own Australian Financial Services Licence rather than borrowing somebody else's. Below is the rest of what you would ask before you put a client with an agency you have not used yet.
The facts a broker checks before handing over a client’s liability cover, in one place, so nobody has to ask for them. Every row is a name, a number or a date you can verify. Anything not on the list, security ratings included, we will send you on request with the source attached.
What we will say about the paper, what we refuse to say about it, and what happens when it changes.
Ivory Insurance backs every product, and the name appears on this page, on the quote and in the policy documentation. You will never get "a leading insurer" or "strong security" from us in place of it. You get the name, and you form your own view.
Attsure does not publish security ratings on this website, and it will not call its capacity financially strong to fill the gap. Ask for rating or licensing detail for your own file and you get the answer with the source it came from, or an admission that we do not have it.
If the insurer behind a product changes, at binder renewal or at any other point, brokers are told before the change takes effect for new business. No broker should learn who is carrying the risk from a client's question.
Attsure Licensee Pty Ltd holds its own Australian Financial Services Licence, number 700242, rather than operating as somebody else's authorised representative. Attsure MGA Pty Ltd is the trading entity and an authorised representative of the licensee. Both are named in the policy documentation, and anything unclear can be put to us directly.
