Attsure is a new underwriting agency writing liability cover for Australian brokers. It is led by Johan Steyn, who spent the last decade building the premium funder Attvest around one test. Brokers stay with whoever is easiest to deal with. Underwriting does not change the test, it just changes the format.

Johan Steyn
Managing Director
Johan Steyn started Attvest in 2014 and built it into a premium funder known across the Australian market for two things, service and ease of transaction. Brokers did not stay for a clever rate. They stayed because dealing with Attvest was the easiest part of the day.
Attsure takes those learnings into underwriting. Sit with the broker across the whole lifecycle instead of only the new business end of it, cut the steps that add nothing, and answer the phone when it rings. Jack Joubert runs the business as CEO and Rueben Steyn co-founded it, and the three of them are who you will actually be dealing with.
Attsure and Attvest are separate businesses with no legal relationship between them. What carries across is the founder and the philosophy, not the balance sheet.
Attvest was named Premium Funder of the Year at the Insurance Business Australia Awards 2026. That award belongs to Attvest, not to Attsure, and we are not going to borrow it.

Started Attvest in 2014 and built it into a national premium funder. Sets appetite and the service standard here, and will not sign off on a promise the business cannot keep.

Runs the business day to day. The platform, the wordings, and the answer when a broker asks whether we can do something. Yes or no, he is the one who says it.

Works where brokers meet the platform. Onboarding, access, service, and the queue of tools brokers keep asking for. Email Attsure and you will usually get him.
One place to quote, bind, endorse and settle. Monthly payment available on every policy, with your commission on annual terms. One named insurer behind all of it, Ivory Insurance, and our own AFSL over the top. Select brokers come onto the platform from 1 September 2026, wider access follows in October 2026. Nothing here needs a pilot program to explain it.
